NEFRC Dressage Competition
at Ovenstone EquineClasses are Intro A and C, Prelin 2+7, Novice 24 + 34 and Elementrary 42. This will be a fun informal event and there is no requirement to plait up if you don't want to. Normal competition clothes should be worn and as always riding hats to current BRC standards. Members of NEFRC get a discretionary rate. Rosettes 1st-6th and also trophies to the highest placed percentage in intro classes, prelim class, nov class and the highest placed member in the elementary class.

Area 22 Winter Dressage
at Howe Country CentreCome and compete for a riding club team at the Area 22 winter dressage competition. Intro to Novice level classes for individuals and teams. Qualifying and non-qualifying classes. Qualifying classes provide an opportunity to qualify and compete against other riding clubs at the Arena UK final in April 2020. Contact your committee if you are interested.
NEFRC Open Showcross Show
at Club Field, BalcormoCome and enjoy a mix of show jumps and working hunter style fences. Open to all. 50cm-1m. Kids classes starting at 9.30am and Adult classes will not start before 1pm. Brian Watson is the course builder and this will run through the pony club and our arena to make it a bit more exciting! Pre-entries or enter on the day!
NEFRC ODE
at Kinnaird Cross CountryOne Day Event. 60cm-90cm classes. Adults and kids classes. Entries close 2nd July. £40 for members and £45 for non members. Enter by post or online. If you can jump judge at this event, please contact the committee.

Showcross League for NEFRC Members. Will include Blair Style Jumping Qualifiers too.
Come and enjoy a round of show jumps and working hunter style fences. Heights to suit all abilities. Gain points over the summer to top the showcross leaderboard!

Show Jumping League for Members
A round consisting of showjumps followed immediately by a timed section over rustic fences.
Starts 6pm at 60cm, followed by 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes.
We would prefer pre entries so that we know some people are actually coming but you are also welcome to come on the night if you have not pre entered. The cost is £5 per class, and if you haven't already paid then please bring monies with you. Sarah Gillard will be your person of contact when you arrive if you have any questions. Pre-entries can be completed using the on line link here.
We also need volunteers on jumping nights to help with stewarding, pole picking and timing.

This year the charity that NEFRC would like to support is 'Horseback UK'. This charity helps ex service personnel through therapy with horses. Half of all the money raised through the summer leagues will go towards this worthy charity, so we would love members to support the leagues to raise as much as we can.

NEFRC members are invited to participate in the summer combined training evenings. Riders can compete at dressage or show jumping, or both! Smart-casual dress!
Dressage will start at 6pm and there will be an intro, a prelim and a novice class. Placing to 6th place for the dressage. Dressage time slots will be available from the website (www.nefrc.org.uk) on the Monday before the competition. Dressage must be pre-entered. Please enter by the Sunday evening before the competition.
Show Jumping can be entered on the night from 7pm and this will be run as a clear round event. We will set the course to any height you want and on-the-ground assistance will be available. Water trays and fillers etc all available. So whether you want to jump 50cm or higher than a metre, everyone is catered for!
There will be no charge for this evening, but we will ask members to make a donation to support the Equine Grass Sickness vaccine trial fund.
